The Lactalis România Group has recently launched, under the brand Zuzu, four new products in the kefir segment. The I Love Kefir range features a plain variety, and three fruity varieties: lemon and lime, strawberry and mint, and sour-cherry and hibiscus.
I Love Kefir by Zuzu enjoys its dedicated Facebook page, as well as a dedicated website that briefly conveys the benefits of the new products, but also the benefits of eating kefir: it is “nutrient dense”, it is “beneficial for digestion”, it is “passionate about immunity”, and it contains “11 lactic cultures”. The new launch means also that the brand Zuzu steps into a new dairy segment, after yogurts and milk (including here also milk-based drinks – cocoa milk, vanilla milk, or frappe). Lactalis România has already been present in the kefir segment with the products marketed under the brands Albalact and Covalact.
Lately, kefir has been one of the segments with the fastest growth in terms of consumption, together with milk-based desserts, sana and sour milk. This development falls into the growing trend enjoyed by the healthy and added-value products.
